Six years ago I discovered a love for writing. That love manifested itself through blogging. Over that time I’ve had many different blogs. Some have lasted a long time, some haven’t lasted very long at all. This blog is going to be different. Instead of blogging about a topic I’m going to just be me. There are three things in life that interest me the most and that’s what you’ll see discussed here at blakemitchamore.com.
I’m 36 years old and sports has been the single greatest interest in my life. I love everything about sports. The physicality, the athleticism, the drama it creates I love it all. I follow every major sport and follow players and coaches as well. You may even see me write about professional wrestling from time to time.
For the last seven years of my life I’ve been on a fitness journey. When I was 29 years old I weighed 417 pounds and my health was beginning to fail. Since that time I’ve gotten as low as 229 pounds. Like everyone else I have my ups and downs and gain and lose weight. I don’t give up, I continue learning and I keep striving to reach the fitness goals I have for myself.
Like most people I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs in life. I try to make the most of the downs and learn from each experience. I believe in sharing life experiences with others so they can learn and hopefully help people to not make the same mistakes I did.
